The sweet and sour of the raspberry and red apple balance the bold flavor of the calcium rich kale. So much so that your skull may distend, jump out of your skin, paint itself in vibrant colors, and dance until dawn…at least that’s what it feels like. You can check out the ingredients page to learn more about the health benefits. Although, I can’t image you’ll need any more incentive than the former.

Ingredients

  • 1 red apple
  • 1 cup of raspberries
  • 1/8 honeydew melon
  • 1 big leaf of kale (stem removed)
  • 1 handful of mixed baby greens
  • 1 lemon (juice)
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 1/2 cups of ice

Blend well. Get your face skull paint ready. Dance.

I love the sound of your recipes but I live alone. Can they be stored or should they be eaten right away,or should they be cut by 1/2 or 1/3?

I can drink this in one sitting but you may have to alter the quantity. If you want to store it, make sure to cover it completely and set it in the fridge. However, with each hour that passes you’ll be losing nutrients and the texture will get a bit thick.

I wouldn’t store it for more than 24 hours…they’re easy to make, anyway. :)
