Green Drink Resources

The resources page is here to get you up and running with your new green drink lifestyle. Which blenders are best on a budget? Which pro blender should you buy? Juicers? Where to buy sprouting seeds? And more…

Pro Blenders

I’ve used both the Vitamix and Blendtec over the years and my preference is Blendtec. It looks better and it does everything the Vitamix can and more.

Economy Blenders

Before I went “pro”, I had an Oster and while it struggles a bit with tough, waxy greens, it’s the best out there for the price.

Pro Juicers

Personally, I blend way more than I juice so I can’t rationalize spending this much on a juicer (but $200…totally cool ). However, for those of you fighting illnesses and concerned with getting more nutrients and less oxidation, a higher cost is necessary.

Omega Juicer

Omega ($299)

Economy Juicers

These are centrifugal juicers so they are prone to greater oxidation but since I juice a lot less than I blend and when I do juice, I drink it right away, it’s not an issue. I own and love the Breville Ikon.

I grow my own sprouts for the green smoothies I make and purchase all my sprouting equipment and seeds from Sproutpeople.
